Church and Peppertree Heights
Good God Theater, Act 2: New Testament - Ted & Company Theater Works bring to life stories from the Gospels and from the rest of the New Testament. Their unique blend of freshness and humor open eyes and hearts in new ways to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Bring your Bible and sense of humor. Good God Theater will start on Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the church or on Thursdays, 1:30 p.m. at the Peppertree Heights Community Room, 285 Peppertree Drive in Amherst.
Advent Bible Study
For the Advent Bible Study we will be using the curriculum The Journey by author, Adam Hamilton.
It’s a captivating story—one that has been told many times before, but never quite this way. Adam Hamilton will guide us on a journey to experience the anxiety and anticipation that Joseph and Mary felt as they prepared for the birth of Jesus. We will meet familiar characters, including Elizabeth, Mary’s older relative; the lowly night-shift shepherds who were the first to hear the good news of the Savior’s birth; and many others. We will spend time in the towns surrounding the Holy Land and will travel with Mary and Joseph on that unforgettable journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born.This is a journey that is meant to be shared. Take your first step now.
The Journey will begin for the various Bible Study groups as follows:
·Asbury Pointe on November 11th at 1:30pm located at: 50 Stahl Rd, Getzville
·Asbury Adult Sunday School – starting November 27th at 9:15am
·Asbury UMC Wednesday Study starting November 30th at 10:00am
·Peppertree Heights starting December 1st at 1:30pm
